July 25, 2012: Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing
This year the Maglev 200™ system, controller and device, underwent thorough electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC) testing as a major step towards CE compliance for export to the European
market. Testing showed the Maglev 200™ system met or exceeded FCC Class A operation.
The testing was done by Keystone Compliance, a certified testing laboratory. Butterfly
Haptics is grateful to the Pennsylvania International Business Development Commission for
their assistance.
- May 14-17, 2012: ICRA, in Saint Paul
The IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation was held in St. Paul, MN
this year and Butterfly Haptics was there. Once again, attendies were able to experience our
TAGIT (Touch and Guide in Tandem) haptic interaction method which provides 6-DOF intuitive
navigation with haptic feedback over arbitrarily large workspaces.
